Stone Column analogueandy On the 'new' Colliers Way cycle route (NCN24) between Midford and Wellow near Bath in Somerset. 'Stone Column' by Jerry Ortmans, inspired by and commerating William Smith 'The Father of British Geology' who lived at Tucking Mill near Midford whilst he was surveyor for the Somersetshire Coal Canal the route of which the path largely follows.
